A simplex strainer (single basket) is used when the flow or process can be shut down for a short period of time. Also called as Bucket type strainer, Pot strainer or basket strainer depending on size and industry.

  • Strainers meet ASME B16.5 & ASME B16.34 requirements
  • Blow-out gasket proof design for effective gasket sealing
  • Body size can be varied : Large body sized strainers are called Pot strainers
  • Capability to design vessel/body as per ASME sec VIII Div I . Vessels can be designed for full vacuum condition. Verify design with FEA
  • Welders are qualified as per ASME Sec IX (if required)
