Hinged Expansion Joints
Hinged Metal Expansion Joints feature hinges connected by hinge pins designed to restrain pressure thrust loads and external forces such as dead weight and wind.
Single Metal Hinged Expansion Joint
- Consists of a pair of hinges connected by a hinge pin.
- Used to absorb angular movement occurring in one plane only.
- Provides controlled flexibility while protecting the piping system from stress

Double Hinged Metal Expansion Joint
- Comprises two pairs of hinges connected by hinge pins, arranged on either side of a centre spool.
- Allows absorption of angular movement in two planes.
- Designed to handle larger movements and distribute forces more effectively.
