Y-Strainers are devices for mechanically removing solids from flowing liquids or gases by means of a perforated or wire mesh straining element. They are used in pipelines to protect equipment such as pumps, meters, control valves, steam traps and regulators.

- Machined screen seating area in the body for screen retention
- Drain/blow off connection furnished with plug as standard (off centre / on centre)
- Strainers meet ASME B16.5 & ASME B16.34 requirements
- Blow-out gasket proof design for effective gasket sealing
- Welders are qualified as per ASME Sec IX (if required)

- Low temperature carbon steel ( Eg-A 106 gr B body)
